Every day I am blessed to wake up and come to my dream job, working side by side with all my amazing teammates here at Shannon Staley and Sons.  I am committed to helping our craftsmen and women build long-term, fulfilling experiences as part of our team. I strive to live the 5 core values of Shannon Staley and Sons everyday: be committed, be generous, be family focused, be profitable, be grateful. I am fortunate I have so many caring and helpful people in my life, and it is my goal to be a positive influence on all those I have the chance to meet. I am a grateful father of 4 amazing children (Nolan, Adriana, Lucas, Crosby) and husband to my best friend, my everything, Cara.

David Flores

Dave started with Shannon Staley and Sons in Oct 2014 and has been able to advance through the company from Craftsman all the way to his current role as Director of Human Resources. He loves this fast-paced industry and makes it his goal to embody the core values Shannon Staley and Sons represent as well as be a positive influence and role model for young professionals who want to rise in this industry.

Jordan Fritchman

Jordan graduated from Kent State University with degrees in both Finance and Accounting. She started as the Controller at Shannon Staley and Sons September 2020. She is excited to work with a group of people that take such pride in their work.

Marty Vuono

Marty is the fractional CFO for Shannon Staley & Sons. He has been a long-time CFO for several Pittsburgh companies in a variety of industries. Marty is a CPA and a graduate of The University of Notre Dame. Marty provides guidance on all financial matters as well as many operational matters for SSS

Austyn Becker

Austyn began doing construction projects at the age of fourteen. This passion led him to graduate from the Indiana County Technology Center in 2017. He then attended the university of Point Park, which he graduated from with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is excited to combine his skills with his graduate degree in a practical application, by enjoying the ability to work in both the construction field as well as an office setting.

Brendan Miller

Brendan comes from a background of working with his hands. This experience provided him a chance to run jobsites and learn the management side of the business early in his career. Now, he uses his experience to generate and review estimates, helping to bridge the gap from our financial end to the operational side of the business. Brendan enjoys working for a company that represents values that matter to him as well as allowing for the growth that I have witnessed in others and myself. Outside of work, he is a member of the board of Directors of a local Volunteer Fire Company.

Ben Hazelton

Ben started his career working construction at twelve years old, he continued his career with his family construction company for over ten years. Wanting to make a name for himself he started with the Shannon Staley and Sons and has been here for a year and a half. Starting as a Foreman, he was later promoted to Project Manager and recently has filled the opening as Division Manager of the On-Demand division. “Anyone who works hard and shows that they care can have a long career here at Shannon Staley.”

Armando Caraballo

After graduating with top honors from Triangle Tech, Armando started his career with a small company doing custom home additions and remodeling.  His work ethic and positive attitude speaks for itself as he quickly became a Lead Carpenter. After a few years he was given an opportunity to work with SSS as a foreman.  During his time at Shannon and Staley, he quickly grew to love their business model. He enjoys working for a company that has old school values, while always challenging himself to learn and grow. Through his years of hard work and discipline he has graduated to a project management position.  Armando applies the company’s core values to every aspect of his life. When he’s not working, Armando is a family man and is spending his time with his wife and children and is also an active military member and currently serves in the Army National Guard.

Nick Schrello

Nick has an extensive background in new construction.  He fell in love with home building around 2018 and has never looked back, working for one of America’s top selling new construction home builder, Nick quickly picked up on the importance of building proper relationships and executing his craft efficiently in order to grow to his new role at SSS.  Nick has a vital role in the company of being our new construction Project Manager.  His experience and professionalism is unmatched in the market and the company is grateful for his commitment.  Nick is the father of 2 boys and is a huge Pittsburgh sports fanatic.  He also enjoys experiencing all the restaurants and food dishes that Pittsburgh has to offer and when asked how he remains driven on a daily basis, his answer is simple: he loves making peoples’ dreams become reality.

Randy Metz

Randy was born and raised on his family’s farm in Bentleyville, PA, purchased in 1936 after leaving the namesake town in West Virginia, (Metz, WV, settled by his 4x great grandfather Jacob Metz). Randy spent his younger years operating the farm and learning to develop real estate. A graduate from California Univ of PA with a BS in Applied Engineering, he has worked previously with Winchester Homes in MD, and Goshen Ridge; which through strong customer interaction, and schedule adherence was able to earn Goshen Ridge a 100% referral rate. After returning to the Pittsburgh area in 2006, he got married and worked as a realtor for five years, dealing with new home construction, land development, and farms. His realtor experience inspired him to start his own excavation company which he operated for fifteen years. Randy has built many homes over his career, including his family homes. “I put a lot of heart and detail in my work. Be it student housing or a multimillion dollar home, it deserves to be straight, level and square.”
