SSS is about to enter its 10th year of operation and this means, as a management team, we have almost a decade of experience in operating a small business during the summer months. Our education has taught us that it is an intense time for a small business. Sales increase every summer, and our team members schedule their hard-earned vacation time with their kids out of school. More work, combined with less time to do it, equals increased pressure on our team. And our craftspeople are out there each working day overcoming the challenge of performing their best in the increasing temperatures.
Our team is rising to the challenge this summer, as seen through a few examples:
- Our new Morgantown division is growing its customer base and our field staff. Ben, Rusty, Andrew, and Dave are all working hard to keep our commitments to our customers as we learn this new area
- Our property management clients have increased their workload with more unit turnovers and more maintenance requests. Austyn, Costen, Matt, and our team continue to meet our clients growing demand
- Total number of requests for estimates has risen substantially; our customers and prospective customers continue to share feedback that Brendan, Randy, and our Costing team communicate quickly, clearly and keep their committed deadline dates.
Summer is a very busy time for SSS, and we are grateful for our opportunities. While honoring our commitments, we also strive to remember that time is finite, and we might as well enjoy it!
Especially since there is no snow to shovel right now…
